In this fast and fun class, you’ll create a sleek and stylish quilted case that will keep your tablet device cozy and safe.
Create a tactile and attractive case for your tablet device
6 hours: This Quilted iPad Case will get used every day! We’ll learn the quilt-as-you-go method, using your domestic sewing machine and a walking foot. This little project looks great when you combine 4-6 complimentary fabrics for the outside, and one coordinating fabric for the lining. Not much fabric is needed, so break out those special fat quarters and unique fabrics you’ve been hoarding in your stash… it’s time to use them!
We’ll talk about color, texture and pattern as a part of the class, giving you more tools for creating great fabric compositions. You’ll also learn to put in a lined pocket and an invisible zipper! The pattern is easily adaptable to different sizes… a complete pattern with steps is provided in class, so you can make more for holiday gifts or swaps.
This workshop is a 6-hour live-stream event, conducted on Zoom, consisting of live instruction (no recording, please). You should have the current version of Zoom installed on your computer or laptop. Guidance for getting started will be sent in advance of the workshop.

I will provide full instructions in class, as well as a PDF of instructions with photos. This is an all-levels class. Basic knowledge of walking foot quilting is helpful, but not necessary. We will learn together!
