In this fast and fun class, you’ll create a sleek and stylish quilted case that will keep your tablet device cozy and safe.
Create a tactile and attractive case for your tablet device
This Quilted iPad Case will get used every day! We’ll learn the quilt-as-you-go method, using your domestic sewing machine and a walking foot. This little project looks great when you combine 4-6 complimentary fabrics for the outside, and one coordinating fabric for the lining. Not much fabric is needed, so break out those special fat quarters and unique fabrics you’ve been hoarding in your stash… it’s time to use them!
We’ll talk about color, texture and pattern as a part of the class, giving you more tools for creating great fabric compositions. You’ll also learn to put in a lined pocket and an invisible zipper! The pattern is easily adaptable to different sizes… a complete pattern with steps is provided in class, so you can make more for holiday gifts or swaps.
