collages: organic prints and collages

In my art studio, I create organic abstractions, exploring patterns, shapes, colors and textures I see in nature and the elements. The simple structures of microorganisms appear as recurring figures in my work. All of my artwork is on paper, and monotype is my primary print medium. I build up rich layers by printing on translucent papers, which I then collage together using machine stitching for added texture.
